The Interior Savings Across the Lake Swim Kelowna, the largest and longest running open water swim event in Canada! 2022 will mark the 74th edition of an event that has always offered a challenge and a standard for young and old, newly minted swimmers and seasoned racers.
Since its beginning in 1949, the Interior Savings Across the Lake Swim in Kelowna, BC has always been more a demonstration of swimming ability than a race. Each summer, swimmers of all ages and abilities challenge themselves to swim 2.1 kilometres across Okanagan Lake, to test what they have learned and to master the distance.
